ManpowerGroup Senior Project Manager in Alpharetta, Georgia

Our client, is seeking a Sr. Project Manager to join their team!

Job Experience:

  • At least 8 years of project management experience in the engineering field. Experience with electrical power and control systems is preferred.

Key Attributes:

  • Experience in construction management and project controls is preferred.

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, Word, and Project.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Excellent attention to detail and quality assurance.

  • Capable of working independently, yet willing to seek guidance when needed.

  • Basic understanding of sound engineering principles and practices.

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial, or Civil Engineering is preferred.

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is preferred.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the full project management cycle for one or more projects, including initial opportunity identification, proposal generation, project kickoff, execution, and closeout.

  • Manage safety, quality, scope, budget, and schedule for projects.

  • Prepare proposals, cost estimates, and supporting documentation for new opportunities.

  • Lead project kickoff, execution, and closeout activities, ensuring adherence to company-standard tools, processes, and procedures. This includes creating and maintaining job safety analysis, budget tracking, schedules, cost analysis/forecasting, change order management, client updates, and progress meetings.

  • Collaborate with internal technical teams to ensure the safe, timely, and quality execution of technical project scopes, including participating in the development and review of technical deliverables.

  • Work with division leadership to identify and resolve resource constraints in a timely manner.

  • Support the implementation of the company's Quality Management & Best Practices program within your projects.

  • Support the implementation of the company's NFPA 70E Electrical Awareness & Training program within your projects.

  • Manage and respond to client support calls, including after-hours, ensuring timely issue identification and resolution.

  • Willingness to travel, averaging 25%, including air travel.
