As a Drives/Controls Service Engineer, you will execute service work with low to medium complexity according to work instructions and in accordance with ABB standard processes, quality standards and safety guidelines. You will be in close cooperation with customers and other ABB teams, acting as the technical point while delivering quality and satisfying customer service. This position requires an individual with excellent troubleshooting skills and a person with a strong technical background in drives and motors. The position requires 70 percent travel to service our demand based customers throughout the USA (United States of America). Repairs equipment, utilizing knowledge of electronics and using test instruments, computers and hand tools Lead workers in servicing and repair of ABB & GE equipment. As required instruct customer in electrical theory and operation of ABB & GE Drives.
