Responsibilities You Will. . . In support of the Director of Corporate Services and the entire Corporate Services Department (Facilities, Security, and Mail Room), help promote and maintain a strong team culture in keeping with Rollins Core Values of Continuous Improvement, Doing the Right Thing, Collaboration, Service, and Accountability Lead and manage a team of security officers, providing ongoing training and development Develop, implement, and maintain effective security policies, procedures, and emergency response plans Conduct security risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies Oversee all aspects of physical security, including access control systems, video surveillance, and alarm systems Conduct investigations into security incidents and collaborate with law enforcement as needed Stay up to date on industry best practices and emerging security threats Maintain positive relationships with local law enforcement agencies and other stakeholders Provide CPR, AED, First Aid, and fire safety training to designated employees Provide budget management support to Director by assisting in the preparation and tracking of the department budget and cost-effective manner and analyze and explain budget variances Coordinate internal resources and vendors for execution of projects, on time, within scope and within budget Manage vendors to ensure adherence to agreed-upon service level agreements, review, approve, and maintain all contracts, and facilitate RFPs as needed Support all RSC event management operations via the management of the Corporate Services calendar, engagement with internal/external event operations stakeholders Performs other related duties as assigned The Benefits. . . Qualifications The Experience You Will Bring (Minimum Require ents): Bachelor's degree in Security Management, Criminal Justice, Military Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience) Minimum of 7 years of experience (inclusive of leadership experience) in a security management, military, or law enforcement role, with a proven track record of success Experience in a corporate security environment is a strong plus In-depth knowledge of security best practices, access control systems, video surveillance systems, and alarm systems Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite Valid CPR, AED, and First Aid certifications Must be eligible to work in the United States Skills and Competencies: Must possess strong leadership skills to guide and motivate a security team; should also possess strategic vision to develop and implement comprehensive security programs that align with the organization's overall goals and risk profile Must possess the ability to oversee day-to-day security operations and proactively identify, assess, and mitigate security risks is crucial. This includes knowledge of access control systems, video surveillance, security protocols, and incident response procedures Must possess excellent communication skills to effectively convey security policies and procedures to employees at all levels.
