Meta Application Manager, Workday in Austin, Texas

Summary:

The People Experiences team is responsible for building integrated, scalable, and robust HR applications for Meta employees. We are currently looking for an experienced, creative, and passionate Application Manager with a strong background supporting the employee lifecycle in Workday. The individual will have the ability to manage and grow the platform, support critical programs across the company, and drive impactful change in a rapidly evolving organization. As a member of the team, you will play a key role in defining the future-state of the employee journey at Meta.

Required Skills:

Application Manager, Workday Responsibilities:

  1. Ownership of the global payroll pillar in Workday

  2. Plan and lead cross-functional efforts for Workday product launches

  3. Continuously elevate the employee experience and optimize interactions with Workday

  4. Represent the Workday platform across the landscape of HR products

  5. Partner with business leaders and People Engineering teams to align on product strategy

  6. Lead the research, design, configuration, testing, and deployment of new Workday functionality

  7. Drive stability & scalability within the operational support team

  8. Guide the maturation of the Workday infrastructure & security framework through a data-driven demand management process

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience.

  2. 7+ years experience configuring Workday & 3rd-party Payroll, with demonstrated functional and technical experience

  3. 5+ years experience supporting related Workday products (Recruiting, Compensation, Talent, Performance, Prism, Learning)

  4. Domain expertise and experience translating business objectives into technical solutions

  5. Experience thriving in a complex & technically ambiguous environment

  6. Experience proactively focusing on quality and execution in a move-fast culture

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Workday Pro certification in relevant tracks

  2. Experience defining best practices and standardization in partnership with HR & Engineering stakeholders

  3. Sophisticated understanding of different integration technologies and custom tools leveraging Workday APIs

Public Compensation:

$166,000/year to $230,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
