Oracle Regional Security Systems Project Manager, JAPAC in BENGALURU, India

Job Description

Leading the JAPAC security systems projects team and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring others. Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Prefer 5+ years relevant experience and BTech/BE degree.

Responsibilities

Job functions:

  • Reports to JAPAC Security Systems Sr. Program Manager.

  • Manage security systems projects (new office, office downsize, retrofit, upgrades, decom) in the JAPAC region.

  • Support Oracle's Global Real Estate Project Managers within the JAPAC Region plus Regional Security Director to Design & Develop Security Scope of Work & Bid / Tender Documents.

  • Develops project objectives by reviewing project proposals and plans; conferring with management.

  • Determines project responsibilities by identifying project phases and elements; assigning personnel to phases and elements; reviewing bids from contractors.

  • Determines project specifications by studying product design, customer requirements, and performance standards; completing technical studies; preparing cost estimates.

  • Confirms system performance by designing and conducting tests.

  • Determines project schedule by studying project plan and specifications; calculating time requirements; sequencing project elements to ensure projects meets the timeline/FDOB.

  • Maintains project schedule by monitoring project progress; coordinating activities; resolving problems.

  • Controls project plan by reviewing design, specifications, and plan and schedule changes; recommending actions.

  • Controls project costs by approving expenditures; administering contractor contracts.

  • Prepares project status reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends; recommending actions.

  • Maintains project data base by writing computer programs; entering and backing up data.

  • Maintains safe and clean working environment by enforcing and aligning with company’s policies, procedures, and regulations.

  • Maintain contingency workforce engaged through the supplier.

  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Job requirements:

  • Candidates for this position must have a strong Security background in Designing Access Control & CCTV Systems.

  • This person will be working in Bengaluru, India. They must be fluent in English.

  • They shall be responsible for writing technical specifications & developing Security Scope of Work & Bid Tender Documents for Security Vendors to bid from.

  • This position shall require travelling to our Field Offices Regionally to attend project coordination (kick-off) meetings with our Field Real Estate Project Managers, Regional Security Director, Architects and General Contractors.

  • Strong organizational & clear communication skills are absolutely required. Individuals in this position must be self-motivated requiring little or no direct supervision; they must demonstrate strong multitasking ability to manage multiple different projects in their life cycle from conceptual design phase through implementation, testing & commissioning.

Additional details:

  • This position requires a clear background check, along with 5+ years of working experience in security systems.

  • Working knowledge of Lenel OnGuard Access Control and Closed-circuit television (CCTV).

  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD or higher is desirable; Word Processing & Excel Spreadsheet skills are absolutely required.
