DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES: Linde Gas & Equipment Inc. is seeking a Technical Support Specialist to join our team located in Bethlehem, PA. The Technical Support Specialist will support sales and operations with evaluation and approval of new Specialty Gases and mixtures. Technical Support Specialists will work directly with customers in all Specialty Gas market segments to provide application and technical support. 

Responsibilities  * Provide Application support and product information to customers regarding the specialty gas product line  * Evaluate new specialty gas mixtures for review and approval to sales  * Assist sales with product sourcing and custom mixture quotes  * Respond to regulatory compliance inquires  * Provide safety guidance on gas handling to customers  * Provide valve selection guidelines in accordance with the Compressed Gas Association  * Other duties as assigned 

Requirements:  * Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, with at least 10 years' experience in the specialty gas industry  * Working knowledge and experience with Gas Chromatography and gas analysis  * Specialty Gas plant operations experience required  * Good computer skills  * Possess good ownership and accountability  * Excellent Communications Skills  * Excellent Problem Solving and Deductive Reasoning Skills
