Engineering Manager System Integration & Amplifier Development

About the Role Based in the Bose Bloomfield Hills, Michigan office the engineering manager will lead a team of system integration engineers as well as amplifier development engineers. The responsibilities include overseeing customer requirements, system integration and testing, and continuous development of automotive amplifiers for multiple customers. This role will provide functional leadership to ensure that customer commitments are met, that product and system performances are achieved on time and within budget, and projects are launched into production successfully.

The engineering manager will provide leadership, cohesiveness, and ensure process consistency across customers. They are accountable for customer deliverables and responsible for the customer applications of the amplifier portfolio. The engineering manager will collaborate closely with other functional teams to support execution of booked business and future project pursuits. They act as a technical liaison between customer facing and engineering teams and will also collaborate with external partners to enable and augment the team's capabilities. They will be responsible for resources and workload management, and performance assessment of the team.

This role requires travel of about 15% within North America and internationally.

Qualifications (Minimum requirements) Bachelor's degree in electrical or electronics engineering, embedded software or hardware (Master's degree preferred) Proven track record of successfully managing engineering teams through automotive development cycles Demonstrated ability to develop and grow a high-performing engineering team Minimum of 5 years of automotive project/program management & development experience Minimum of 3 years people management experience leading technical functions Demonstrated ability to
