Robert Half Office Administrator in Caledonia, Michigan

Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Office Administrator to join our team. This role will primarily focus on providing administrative support in the areas of human resources and manufacturing and operations. The ideal candidate will possess excellent organizational skills, proficiency in data management, and a strong understanding of HR processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Human Resources:

  1. Assist with various HR tasks including but not limited to recruitment, onboarding, and employee relations.

  2. Maintain employee records and ensure data integrity within HR systems.

  3. Coordinate employee training sessions and workshops as needed.

  4. Support payroll processing and benefits administration.

  5. Assist in drafting and updating HR policies and procedures in compliance with labor regulations.

  6. Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries and provide guidance on HR-related matters.

Manufacturing:

  1. Compile, analyze, and generate reports related to manufacturing processes, including production output, inventory levels, and quality control metrics.

  2. Collaborate with relevant departments to gather data and ensure accuracy and timeliness of reports.

  3. Utilize software tools such as Excel, ERP systems, and data visualization platforms to present information in a clear and concise manner.

  4. Identify trends, discrepancies, or areas for improvement based on report findings and communicate insights to management.

General Administrative Support:

  1. Manage office supplies inventory and place orders as necessary.

  2. Coordinate meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements for team members.

  3. Handle incoming correspondence, including emails and phone calls, and redirect them as appropriate.

  4. Maintain filing systems and ensure documents are organized and easily accessible.

  5. Assist with ad-hoc projects and tasks as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field preferred.

  2. Proven experience in administrative roles, preferably in a manufacturing environment.

  3. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel for data analysis.

  4. Familiarity with HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems) and ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) software is a plus.
