Schedule: Part Time Days

Shift : Tuesday (1:30pm-6pm), Thursday and Friday (can be flexible between 7:30am-6pm as long as 20 hours/ week are met)

The community you’ll be caring for: AdventHealth Celebration

· Established in 1997 and now a 203-bed hospital

· AdventHealth Celebration Health was designed as a Mediterranean resort-style facility to serve as a cornerstone of health in Disney’s planned community of Celebration, Florida

· The hospital consistently delivers a state-of-the-art healing environment to residents of Osceola, Orange, Polk and Lake Counties, as well as to visitors from across the United States and the world. All within a 'living laboratory' of groundbreaking, research-driven clinical solutions that integrate mind, body and spirit in the defeat of illness and disease

The role you’ll contribute: The Licensed Clinical Psychotherapist is part of a multi-disciplinary team who provides comprehensive care and education for adults, children, and families dealing with behavioral therapy aspect of obesity and related comorbidities and conditions. Collaborates with physicians and other specialists to develop and implement treatment and intervention programs. Collaborates with Executive Health Program to provide stress management to its patients. Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all.

The value you’ll bring to the team:

  • Performs psychological assessments as part of interdisciplinary new outpatient evaluation

  • Determines, develops, and provides psychological treatments to outpatients as part of comprehensive treatment plan

  • Quickly and accurately assesses patients’ triggers, disturbances, and diagnosis

  • Contributes to patient care meetings as needed to report individual patient progress, problems, re-assessments, treatment progress, and making treatment recommendations

  • Leads group treatment sessions for adults, children, and families addressing various behavioral and psychological issues

The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed :

Minimum qualifications :

  • Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology or equivalent for state licensure as Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern (RMHCI).

  • Minimum one year of experience working with adult obesity and related psychological conditions.

  • Experience speaking at large seminars and events with a high level of comfort and skill.

  • Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams

  • Current, valid State of Florida license as a Clinical Psychologist OR Mental Health Counselor OR Marriage and Family Therapist.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Fellowship with APA or CPA-accredited programs focused on clinical psychology

· Experience in collaborative research in the area of clinical obesity

· Master’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare, Project Management or Project

Management or related field

· Project Management Professional Certification (PMP)

  • Approved by Florida Board of Health to supervise Mental Health Counseling Interns and Marriage and Family Interns
