About the role

Responsible for overseeing day-to-day interior and exterior services in a GMP manufacturing environment. These services will include, but not limited to: Landscaping, Waste, Industrial Garments, AEDs, Medical Cabinets, Exterior Glass, Shredding, and Indoor Plants. Will partner closely with Site Service Facilities Manager, contracted vendors, and client facility team. This role will have a heavy focus on vendor management, ensuring contracts are fulfilled, inspections/audits, GxP documentation, work order management and initiating deviations and corrective actions as applicable.

What you'll do

In partnership with local management oversees the day-to-day work flow of contracted vendors to ensure deadlines and accurate procedures; resolves client concerns and answers questions regarding policies and procedures. Handles day-to-day issues as they arise. Ability to identify and appropriately bring up sensitive issues.

Provides supervision to contracted vendors for Interior and Exterior Services for the RTP campus.

Provides assistance such as technical mentorship, and/or training. May lead project teams and/or plan and supervise assignments. Monitors performance and ensures contract fulfillment. Leads by example and models behaviors that are consistent with the company's values.

Communicates with client and facility occupants to ensure customer happiness and improve opportunities to expand contract scope.

May be responsible for helping to support local accounting and finance activities including payables, revenue transactions, forecasting and budgeting, in partnership with business operations, division finance and corporate finance. May be responsible for local P&L oversight.

Ensures compliance to all city, state, and federal license and certification requirements. Maintain and submit all records and documents to accurate authorities for audit purposes.

Reviews all vendor work and assures performance in accordance with established safety procedures.

Participates in scheduling meetings operational partners/customer to finalize priority of work orders, optimum downtime windows, and necessary lead times.

Will act as a backup resource to support any function, as required.

Maintains accurate metrics on the performance of maintenance tasks and provide timely reports to management.

Stays in sync with all company policies and procedures and adheres to company standards.

What you’ll need

  • Bachelor's Degree (BA/BS) preferred or equivalent experience. Minimum of 5 years relevant experience.

  • Demonstrated leadership and management experience.

  • Knowledge and experience with EHS and regulatory requirements. Knowledge and understanding of CMMS systems.

  • High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and other software. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and analytical skills.
