Sabre Travel Solutions (https://www.sabre.com/what-we-do/our-businesses/sabre-hospitality-solutions/) is looking for a talented Principal Account Management - LGS

Job Overview:

  • Candidates will be responsible for promoting Sabre’s range of products and services, as well as maintaining assigned accounts within the hospitality and (or) car rental sectors.

  • Success in this role hinges on the ability to grasp nuances of our diverse products and services, adapting to meet customers' varying needs.

  • A keen interest in the evolution of travel distribution and technological advancements within our industry is crucial for maintaining strategic alignment with customers. Awareness of the competitive landscape helps define our strategic differentiators and future approaches in the market.

  • Effective negotiation skills and a methodical approach are vital for securing favorable terms and nurturing win/win partnerships.

  • Using data insights, candidates guide customers toward business growth by identifying opportunities and strategic objectives for each account.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders are essential for achieving aligned strategies and goals.

  • This role requires both strategic vision and tactical execution with a proactive mindset.

  • You will lead Sabre's efforts with key travel suppliers, driving innovation and pioneering new distribution approaches and strategies in both hospitality and ground transportation.

  • As a trusted advisor, you will simplify complexities for clients, optimizing their experience and driving innovation.

  • You will have the opportunity to define key strategies and growth plans for your accounts, while keeping a finger on the pulse of the latest market trends.

  • You will act as the main point of contact for assigned customers overseeing all commercial and operational aspects of the relationship daily.

  • You will foster connections between our Sabre and Client organizations, ensuring team members are aligned based on their positions and functional roles within the organization.

  • You will offer support and guidance to stakeholders across various projects, products, and broader business contexts. This involves mentoring and educating others on specific functional aspects and potential cross-functional interdependencies.

Must Haves:

  • 4-year degree along with 4-6 years of related experience or have previously held an equivalent role within the industry.

  • Domain experience in the hospitality or ground transportation industries preferably in an account management, technology sales, or product role.

  • Solid understanding of the travel distribution ecosystem, travel sales and marketing.

  • Significant business experience and track record working large and complex negotiations.

  • Exceptional communications skills and executive presence.

  • Extensive commercial experience working within a fast paced, global, and matrixed organization.

  • Strong passion for the industry, inherent curiosity, growth mindset, and bias for action.

Nice To Haves:

  • 8 to 10 years of related professional experience.

  • Demonstrated thought leader within the travel or hospitality marketplace.

  • Former experience managing / influencing relationships at the VP-level and above.

  • Multilingual – English/Spanish.
