Tata Technologies Autodesk Technical Support Specialist in Detroit, Michigan

Title: Autodesk Technical Support Specialist

Location: Detroit, MI

Duration: Full Time / Permanent Employment

Education: BS in Engineering

Experience: 1-3 years' experience with Autodesk software (i.e. AutoCAD, Inventor, Fusion, PLM, etc.) During your onboarding at Tata Technologies you will be given the opportunity to become Autodesk Certified

Experience in other engineering and design applications would be a plus

Experience helping users on software and/or supporting software applications in an organization preferred

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Establish and maintain working relationships with customers as a technical trusted advisor
  • Demonstrating thought leadership and product expertise to help customers achieve goals identified in customer success plans
  • Innovating and delivering packaged service offerings to increase customer success and new product adoption
  • Handle all incoming Autodesk related technical support requests from customers
  • Respond to support requests via multiple channels and following documented processes
  • Document support interactions in a company-wide case management system
  • Research, verify, and document product defects
  • Remain informed on improvements in Installation and Licensing technology
  • Dispatch higher level support requests to an appropriate product specialist (internal and external)
  • Manage the technical support request queue, ensuring timely ticket closure
  • Utilizing customer input, assist in generating sales tools, materials, or content that clearly articulate the advantages of Autodesk solutions
  • Recognize and pass on potential leads for customers that are uncovered during support calls.
  • Follow up calls to customers to make sure they are using and adopting their software.

Skills:

  • Basic troubleshooting skills in Microsoft Windows
  • Ability to quickly identify/troubleshoot problems and provide solutions
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
  • Highly motivated self-starter, willing to travel primarily in Michigan and Ohio but may extend to other locations in the US
  • Ability to conduct self in group setting as a leader and expert
