Position summary

The ideal candidate for our social copywriter position will passionately strive to move the agency’s creative agenda forward. Will work closely with art director partner to develop ideas for all forms of communication, recognizing that today’s constantly-changing media and technology offer new tools and demand new approaches and solutions. Strong digital experience. Creative excellence is essential. Must have dedication, persistence and passion for relevant, groundbreaking ideas, be organized and an excellent communicator. Must be fluent in Spanish and English (either equally proficient in both, or stronger in Spanish).

Associate Creative Director(s).

Responsibilities

  • Conceptualize, brainstorm, imagine, and develop creative ideas and executions for social.

  • Very strong writing skills with ability to transition seamlessly between different voices and styles.

  • Proven ability to write engaging copy for social posts, digital content, ad campaigns, video scripts and storyboards.

  • Extensive knowledge of all current social platforms and familiarity with emerging social platforms.

  • Deep knowledge of metrics and optimization.

  • Deep knowledge of paid media and unique advertising offerings by platform.

  • Demonstrate how ideas tie together both brand and media strategies.

  • Ensure visual communication and brand standards are met.

  • Work closely with multidisciplinary project teams on particular accounts, planning and social media to determine client needs.

  • Respond to feedback in a timely manner.

  • Responsible for concepts and copy on creative decks that will be presented to client.

  • Present creative decks internally and to the client.

  • Deliver high-quality work and achieve business goals.

  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

  • Work on several campaigns at once, sometimes under pressure and often on tight deadlines.

  • Oversee the entire production process, working closely with designers and producers to carry out multiple projects as well as working with directors, photographers and illustrators.

  • Display a curiosity about the latest marketing trends and digital tools and anything related to the constantly evolving forms of communication and storytelling.

  • Stay current with regard to clients’ businesses, industry landscape, and product strategies and information.

  • A thick skin; copy will be revised many times.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrable 3 years of experience as an advertising copywriter.

  • Portfolio or reel must display the ability to do work that appeals to diverse audiences with strong conceptual ideas in a wide variety of media.

  • Collection of work should include campaigns that target the Hispanic-American audience.

  • Strong digital/social experience.

  • Portfolio with 360 campaings is a plus.

  • Must be Bilingual English/Spanish

Compensation Range: $64,500.00- $101,500.00 annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. For this role, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off. The Company anticipates the application deadline for this job posting will be 06/03/2024.
