ManpowerGroup Validation Technician in Foster City, California

Our client, an innovative automotive technology company, is seeking a Validation Technician to join their team. As a Validation Technician, you will be part of the Base Operations supporting engineering teams in validating and improving vehicle reworks. The ideal candidate will possess strong collaboration skills, technical expertise, and attention to detail crucial for successful execution within the organization.

Job Title: Validation Technician

Location: Foster City, CA

Pay: $30-37/h + Benefits

Key Responsibilities

  • Establish relationships with hardware and software engineering teams, PMO, and Base Operations repair teams to drive rework activities efficiently.

  • Collaborate with Base Operation technicians to validate procedures, gathering feedback for continuous improvement.

  • Develop detailed instructions based on engineering processes and validation learnings.

  • Coordinate with PMO and Base Operations repair team to schedule validation activities per vehicle availability.

  • Work closely with the documentation team to finalize and publish instructions as service bulletins.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience collaborating with engineering teams for validation or testing.

  • Practical technical or field experience.

  • Proficiency in understanding schematics, electrical diagrams, and connector end views.

  • Familiarity with automotive diagnostic tools or equipment design.

  • Knowledge of vehicle communication networking protocols and tools.

  • Experience working on product lifecycle validation and process improvement.

  • Detail-oriented with excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Education: Certificate, Diploma, or Associate's degree; a degree in Automotive Technology or related field is a plus.

  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in validation or testing components on a system level.

  • Ability to work autonomously and manage projects effectively.
