Your new role – challenging and future- oriented:
You should be responsible for procurement of Electrical equipment’s, ensure transparency on cost structures, prepare, negotiate, award, and make available frame contracts & price lists for strategic suppliers in accordance with business and market requirements.
Well versed with the HVDC & FACTS Business to undertake the roles & responsibilities of end to end Buying Process of Electrical Equipment & Civil BOM.
Vendor Management: Monitor and follow-up on vendor activities, highlight potential delays. To ensure that corrective actions are taken to minimize/manage the delays/damages.
Acquaintance with the RFQ release, evaluation, and closure process for Procurement of the assigned commodities.
You should be responsible for whole purchase to pay cycle.
Planning of material to meet on time delivery targets.
You should be responsible for coordinating execution activities with Internal / External partners, Internal such as Engineering, Project Manager etc.
Managing supplier relationship, drive new supplier development for cost, delivery, and quality.
Monitoring of Purchase Order Status / manufacturing update at supplier end and progress of Post Order Documentation.
Clarify and execute project specific PO change request with interface partners (Supplier Management, Project Management, Engineering, Strategic Procurement).
Improve supplier performance based on feedback through periodical review on product, services & processes.
You should have experience in PM milestones with strong focus on quality, precision & meeting deadlines.
We don’t need superheroes, just super minds:
Good knowledge of Excel & power point, knowledge of SAP required.
Engineering Degree (Preferably Electrical)
Excellent communication skill (Read, Write, Speak).
4-6 years of relevant experience in Procurement.
Knowledge of Incoterms, Import & Other tax related information required for import & local purchase order.
Good knowledge of computer related work (Microsoft word, Excel, Power point).
Multi –tasking skill, problem -solving ability.
BE/BTech with 4-6 years of experience in project procurement function of Automation & Engineering companies.
Good interpersonal relationship, good communication skills, Good Time & work management skill, Good Analytical skills.
