 *Job Summary:  *

As the Training and Development Manager at Kurt J. Lesker Company, you will lead the development and execution of our training programs across the business. Your role involves equipping team members and leaders with essential training, managing the rollout of training programs, and coordinating with the VP of Human Resources and global Human Resources team to ensure these efforts support our strategic goals. 

*How you will contribute:  *

  • Identify Training Needs: collaborate with the HR Managers and department managers to identify training requirements 
  • Craft Training Programs: develop training programs aligned with business goals and create group and individual learning courses that address identified gaps 
  • Curriculum Design and Oversight: design and manage the educational curriculum for training programs and ensure consistency and quality across all learning activities. 
  • Evaluate Training Effectiveness: assess the impact of the learning programs and the effectiveness of the trainers 
  • Train the Trainer: implement train the trainer, coaching sessions, and mentorship programs to foster continuous learning 
  • Explore New Training Methods: stay informed about traditional and modern training techniques and recommend innovative approaches 
  • Lead: the Learning and Development Council which is a cross functional group of team members and subject matter experts 
  • Learning Management System: drive the utilization of our learning management system  
  • Budget Management: oversee the training budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources 
  • Other duties as assigned 

*Qualifications: *

*Required *

  • 5 or more years experience in a Corporate Training or Training Manager role is essential 
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field of study 
  • Experience in a training role in a medium sized or international business 
  • A proven record of leading cross functional teams 
  • Excellent communication, presentation and organizational skills 
  • Highly proficient and experienced with learning management systems and related technologies. 
  • Less than 10% domestic and international travel   

*Preferred *

  • Experience in a training role in a production, manufacturing or technology oriented business 
  • Experience managing and developing direct reports 
  • Marketing experience and brand building is a plus 
  • Experience in LMS365
