This is a new role for the City of Louisville. This role will primarily support the water treatment, wastewater treatment, and other public work teams. This person will act as a liaison between IT, Public Works, and the application vendors. We anticipate this role to be 50% office based and 50% fieldwork. Examples of fieldwork areas are: wastewater treatment plants, on the side of the road, and in other challenging and sometimes loud and smelly environments. Ideal Candidates Will Have: Extensive Technical Knowledge: A background in public utilities (not required but a huge plus) and strong background supporting various highly complex, security intense applications. Strong understanding of SQL database administration and solid data reporting skills (preferably SSRS, Crystal Reports, and Power BI). Project Management Experience: Experience managing support projects, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring timely delivery of solutions within scope and budget. Customer Focus: A customer-centric approach to support, with a commitment to delivering exceptional service and ensuring customer satisfaction through timely resolution of issues and proactive support initiatives.
