Providence is calling a Compliance Specialist who will:

• Provide compliance and privacy program support to management across Providence St. Joseph Health and its Affiliates in furtherance of our mission and to provide an effective compliance program

• Possess mid-level skills in investigative and research techniques and practices

• Have and continue to develop a greater expertise in certain regulatory, compliance and privacy topics

• Work with highly sensitive information

• Support Providence St. Joseph Health and its affiliates, including hospitals, physician clinics, skilled nursing facilities, health plan, medical foundations, educational institutions, child care centers, in-home services, and Providence Strategic Management Services (PSMS)

• Washington: Providence Regional Medical Center Everett, Swedish Edmonds and Millcreek

Please note the following important detail regarding this role:

• This position may include some overnight travel and routine inter-facility commuting

• This position will require for you to have an onsite presence weekly as defined by manager and departmental needs

Required qualifications for this position include:

• Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare, Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Management Information Systems, or another related field of study -OR- a combination of equivalent education and experience

• Compliance/privacy experience in a healthcare setting

Preferred qualifications for this position include:

• 3+ years of progressive Compliance / Privacy, RIS Internal Audit and / or Information Security experience

• 3+ years of Health Information Management, Accreditation Services or Revenue Cycle experience
