Consultants please conduct a seated interview. Dates of need are 2/2/2023-11/15/2023. This order is for work in Murtaugh, Idaho area. Worker will be required to perform a variety of duties related to the production of alfalfa, barley, wheat, corn, pasture, straw, potatoes, triticale, and livestock. The majority of the work activities during the

overall contract period, however, will be related to maintenance, repair and upkeep of farm vehicles, trucks and machinery.

Farm Machinery Maintenance Work will include the following responsibilities: maintenance, repair and overhaul farm vehicles, trucks and machinery. Equipment may include: wheel loaders, tractors,

tillage implement/planting/harvesting equipment and other implements when necessary. Repair or replace defective parts, using hand tools, milling and woodworking machines, lathes, welding

equipment, grinders or saws; inspect mechanical equipment to locate damage, defects or wear; examine and listen to equipment; read inspection reports; tune or overhaul engines; clean and lubricate

equipment, parts or tools to repair or maintain them in good working order to allow proper functioning; adjust equipment to ensure optimal performance; adjust vehicle components according to

specifications; disassemble equipment for maintenance or repair; repair defective engines or engine components and worn, damaged or defective mechanical parts; replace motors; fabricate parts,

components or new metal parts, using drill presses, engine lathes, welding torches and other machine tools (grinding or grinding torching); replace and pack bearings; replace and re-lace belting; repair

bent or torn sheet metal; service vehicles to maintain functionality; remove tires; repair axels; repair and replace trailer tarps; test and replace electrical circuits, components, wiring and mechanical

equipment using test meters, soldering equipment and hand tools to ensure proper functioning; reassemble machines and equipment following repair, testing operation and making adjustments as

necessary; install machine or equipment replacement parts; move large objects using heavy equipment; drive trucks to haul tools and equipment for onsite repair of large machinery; read work orders or

descriptions of problems to determine repairs or modifications needed; record details of repairs made and parts used; maintain detailed repair or maintenance records; calculate bills according to record

of repairs made, labor time and parts used. Perform general cleanup of farm maintenance and repair areas and a clean rock/weed free work area. Repair electric water pumps, system controls, motors

and/or other mechanisms relative to proper irrigation of crops; assure proper pump operation; winterize irrigation equipment; maintain and/or repair wiring systems relative to all equipment used in the

planting, sorting/handling, harvesting, and packing/storage of agricultural commodities; maintain and update a complete inventory of parts necessary for all production maintenance projects; assure

mobile repair vehicles contain adequate parts to allow for normal daily breakdowns; collaborate and communicate with supervisors as to optimal and most efficient scheduling and completion of

maintenance and repairs.
