Utech Products Inc Territory Sales Manager in New York City, New York

The Territory Manager plays a key role in the entire lifecycle of EndoSoft’s relationship with the customer including but not limited to prospecting, sales, project management, implementation, training and after sale service of EndoSoft solutions. The Territory Manager will work with clinical and IT staff to determine ideal workflows using EndoSoft applications which seamlessly integrate with existing electronic health record systems.JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES:· Develops and maintains strong relationships with assigned customers before, during and after go live, communicating regularly to promptly address any functionality requests and continuously look for ways to streamline their workflow.· Develop high level knowledge of EndoSoft applications. Exhibit this knowledge while presenting, supporting and resolving customer requests related to Endosoft applications and interfaces.· Assist EndoSoft team with end-to-end process from sales, implementation, and upgrade projects in assigned territory, including on-site support for training and project go lives.· Provide post-implementation analysis and follow-up to assure customer satisfaction and proper utilization of the applications.· Assess customer needs based on their established workflow, skill levels, and specialties.· Provide functionality presentation, training, on-site implementation and support, prior to, during, and after go live for customers in assigned territory.· Present and maintain a professional image of all Endosoft Applications.· Provide feedback to VP of Sales and other relevant management personnel regarding application enhancements and suggestions for improvement.· Upselling and cross-selling to existing customers in territory· Use knowledge and background in GI or software to assist in ongoing training of peers and colleagues.· Other duties as assigned.COMPETENCIES:· Customer Service - Responds promptly to customer requests for service and assistance.· Solicits customer feedback to improve functionality and overall service.· Oral Communication - Territory Managers must be able to effectively and persuasively communicate with prospects, clinical staff, IT, purchasing and healthcare administrators.· Listening - Must be an excellent listener and can share customers thoughts with EndoSoft management· Written Communication - Must have the ability to write clearly and concisely, adjusting style based on the specific needs of each recipient. Presents proposals and numerical data effectively.· Self-motivated individual with the ability to work independently as well as in a team environmentMust work in ERP / CRM system daily to document activity, request quotes, set reminders and keep projects with prospects and customers moving forward at all times.Organized and sales process mindedAbility to travel extensively within assigned territoryBasic knowledge of operating systems, network/customer customer/server technologies, EMR, EHR, HL7, DICOM, PACs and other related equipment and functionsDevelop ongoing knowledge of industry hardware platforms and related equipment used in focus departments (GI/Pulmonology/Oncology/Pathology/Etc)Ability to prioritize activity and multitask with multiple accounts at onceAbility to maintain confidentiality of both customer and EndoSoft informationInteract and collaborate effectively with peers and colleaguesMust be detail-oriented and work within specific deadlinesSUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY:This position is an individual contributor role.WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL DEMANDS:This is a remote position requiring working from a home office, while being able to travel to customer facilities on a regular, weekly basis. Employees are expected to maintain their home workspace in a safe manner, free from safety hazards. Consistent with the organization's expectations of information security for employees working at the office, remote employees will be expected to ensure the protection of proprietary company and customer information accessible from their home office. Steps include the use of locked file cabinets and desks, regular password maintenance, and any other measures appropriate for the job and the environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. The physical demands to successfully perform the essential functions of this job are as follows:While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to, stand, sit; talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer keypad and cell phone, reach, pick up, move, stoop, kneel to install related computer equipment and software installs.Ability to manage the stress associated with weekly field travel and territory management.The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.POSITION TYPE/ EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK:This is a Full-Time Exempt position. Days and hours of work are generally Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Territory Managers need to be available when prospects and customers are available. Days and hours of work, including travel to customer locations will vary.TRAVEL:Ability to travel 60% of the time, both planned and on short notice, primarily domestic but on occasion international.JOB QUALIFICATIONS:Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree in related field.Clinical Knowledge of the primary space of Gastroenterology is necessary.· Minimum Experience: 5 years of experience selling, supporting and / or working in the medical field. Must have intact relationships with GI clinicians. Related experience with electronic health records, endoscopy report writers, GI Sales, Endoscopy Nursing or GI Technician is preferred.· Working knowledge of the healthcare industry, especially healthcare software (EHR/EMR/ERW), Hospital, ASC and physician’s office workflow is preferred.· Valid Driver’s License, reliable automobile transportation and ability to maintain automobile insurance a mustOTHER DUTIES:Please note this job description is not designed to be a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the Territory Manager.
