Providence St. Joseph Health Clinical Documentation Specialist RN in Olympia, Washington

Description The RN Documentation and Quality Specialist performs functions that support the hospital and medical staff to continually improve patient care, reduces risk, and provide excellent customer service. This position provides support, facilitation, and coordination to support clinical and documentation process improvements throughout the organization. The RNDQS is responsible for reviewing medical records to facilitate the accurate representation of the severity of illness. This involves extensive record review, interaction with physicians, HIM professionals, and nursing staff. Providence caregivers are not simply valued - they're invaluable. Upon hire: Washington Registered Nurse License Recent hospital experience preferably CCU, Telemetry, Emergency, or strong Med/Surg. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing. 3 years Acute Care experience within a health care organization. Experience with process improvement theories and methods, adult learning principles, and data analysis methods. Why Join Providence?
