Name and description of the hiring department:

The Corporate Security Access Control group is responsible for the issuance of the Photo ID/Access cards for Bell. This includes the activation/deactivation of all physical accesses to buildings that are controlled by the CSAC (Corporate Security Access Control) electronic access control system (AMAG, Picture Perfect and Ccure) for Bell in Canada and parts of the United States. The associate is the single point of contact for identity and access management system. The associate is required to resolve security issues that have impact on the corporation. She ensures that service orders are complete, accurate and processed in a timely fashion.

Job Duties / Accountabilities:

  • Receives, handles and ensures an immediate response for all calls from the corporation and external clients (call centre environment)

  • Produces, activates, modifies and deactivates Bell Photo ID access cards

  • Support the Corporate mandated accountability for protection of Bell’s portion of the national

  • Critical Infrastructure

  • Ensure that buildings are secured according to standards and policy that align with Government of Canada Security Policy

  • Ensures that selected card privileges are temporarily revoked and adding access to supporting workers during Emergency conditions

  • Resolve security issues that have an impact on the corporation

  • Correct discrepancies to adjust customer files for billing purposes

Essential Qualifications / Competencies:

  • Ability to establish and maintain relationships of trust with internal and external clients

  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and written with different internal partners within BCE and externally

  • Ability to coordinate and collaborate with individuals from various departments and organizations both internal and external to Bell

  • Basic Knowledge of MS Word & Excel

  • Bilingualism, English & French (read, written, spoken)

Preferred Qualifications / Competencies:

  • Knowledge on physical access controls

  • Federal clearance (Enhanced Reliability or higher)

  • Access Control system knowledge (AMAG, Picture Perfect and/or Ccure)

  • Knowledge of the corporate structure/environment

  • Basic knowledge of MS Access

Working Conditions:

Five days a week, individual will report to a dynamic group where many facets of Corporate Security are examined. Work is performed using various applications. Daily workload includes answering and taking action on calls, emails and online Web requests, frequent interruptions, emergency situations etc.

Work Arrangement: Full-time in office (meaning that you will be required to perform your work on-site)
