Introduction

As an IBM Application Architect, you directly help clients transform their business and solve complex problems. You will define the scope and vision for projects that deliver customized solutions using your knowledge of IBM platforms. You are a technical leader, serving as a liaison among business partners, technical resources, and project stakeholders.

Your Role and Responsibilities

We are currently recruiting Application Architect - SAP ADM for a 2 year fixed term contract, based in Perth, WA.

The Application Architect team is responsible for design, architecture and delivery management of SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) Extension, Integration, Analytics and AI. As an Application Architect your responsibilities include -

• Solution development for client's SAP Business Technology Platform requirements

• Design and architect the proposed BTP solutions

• Assist in creating solutions for client and/or internal review

• Planning and executing the solution development

• Participate in client meetings to communicate status or give demos

• Participate in daily code reviews to offer insight and ask questions

• Ensure development standards, development processes and best practices are adhered to

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

To ensure success in the role you will possess the following skills -

• Experience with architecting SAP BTP solutions, and related cloud technologies.

• S/4HANA Clean Core implementation experience with SAP User Experience strategy, design and development

• Good understanding of process orchestration and integration

• Understanding of SAP design patterns esp. integration and extensions

• Experience with databases like SAP HANA Cloud, PostGres etc

• Solid skills in SAP CAPm, RAP, Node.js, SAPUI5, Javascript, Fiori, CSS, HTML5, jQuery

• Strong written and verbal communications

• Experience in SAP mobile development (SAP BTP Mobile Service, MDK) a nice-to-have

• Process knowledge like, Market to Cash, Source to Pay etc
