Dollar Bank Facilities Manager in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania

Reference #: 770399 Job Overview: The Facilities Officer provides facilities administration and facilities management services to all branches and administrative offices in the Pittsburgh region.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma/GED required with five years of experience in facilities or property management.
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred with a minimum of three years  property management and/or facilities management experience required.
  • Real Property Administration (RPA) Designation preferred.
  • Two year of management experience strongly preferred.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Exceptional analytical skills.
  • The ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining exceptional organizational skills.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills required.
  • Must have and maintain a valid PA driver's license throughout employment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint

Principle Activities and Duties:

  • Directs all Pittsburgh maintenance technicians that includes scheduling, monitoring facilities activities while providing supervisory oversight for various Bank facilities.
  • Facilitate weekly meetings with the maintenance technicians and correct issues that arise including the approving of supply and material purchases.
  • Manages the key/lock system for the Pittsburgh division including quarterly audits, key distribution (to employees and service providers), and re-keying of locations when keys are lost/stolen.
  • Understand and oversee the work performed by outside service providers including but not limited to janitorial, snow removal, landscaping, HVAC, plumbing, electrical service, and pest control.
  • Reviews electronic work orders received from branches and departments, delegate/ schedule accordingly.
  • Responds to facilities issues by placing service calls to appropriate vendors and providing follow-up to assure the appropriate scope of work has been assessed and completed.
  • Responsible for receiving and coordinating after-hours emergency call responses for the Pittsburgh division.
  • Strong knowledge of facilities with the ability to conduct interviews for potential contractors and service providers while assisting in the bid process and final selection of contractors.
  • Responsible for creating the following budgets:  Occupancy (for all branches and loan centers), Pittsburgh Facilities; and preparing monthly budget variance reconciliation reports for each cost center.
  • Assist with new construction projects by ordering accessories/equipment and coordinating final installation of all accessories and equipment in the Pittsburgh division.
  • Conduct annual training and practice evacuation drills for Pittsburgh locations.
  • Direct maintenance and inspection of all fire/life safety equipment, elevators, and backflow prevention devices for the Pittsburgh division.
