Summary You will serve as an EEO ADVISOR in the EQUAL EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY OFFICE of HQ US MARINE CORPS. Responsibilities You will serve as an EEO counselor for Human Resources and Organizational Management (HROM) serviced commands and non-appropriated fund (NAF) employees located at Quantico, VA. You will provide advice and guidance to managers, supervisors, and employees on Title VII legal and procedural EEO program issues and requirements. You will collect and compile statistical and other data and conduct special studies to assess program shortcomings and progress and to develop approaches, methods, and/or procedures to support improvement. You will be responsible for reviewing and processing EEO complaints in accordance with DON and EEOC guidelines. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications GS-11: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: developing discrimination complaints program reports, compiling, reporting and analyzing statistical data to evaluate program effectiveness, and advising on matters relating to Title VII program areas. GS-09: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: assisting with developing discrimination complaints program reports, compiling, reporting and analyzing statistical data to evaluate program effectiveness, and advising on matters relating to Title VII program areas.
