Duties and Responsibilities:

The incumbent may be asked to perform other function-related activities in addition to the below-mentioned responsibilities as reasonably required by business needs.

  • Performs amplification based diagnostic assays.

  • Performs applicable internal analytical testing methods used in Customer Product Support.

  • Assists with troubleshooting experimentation required for projects/investigations.

  • Trains new laboratory personnel on basic laboratory tasks.

  • Operates basic laboratory equipment with safety mindset.

  • General laboratory and retention room maintenance.

  • Assists in writing, executing protocols/reports for experimentation.

  • Perform retention checks, evaluation reports and authors risk assessments for compliance.

  • Performs/assists with, simple to moderate investigations and prepares investigation reports/risk assessment statements as appropriate.

  • Perform simple data analysis as required.

  • Uses appropriate root cause analysis and lab investigation tools/process when performing investigations. · Ensures all data is accurate, timely, relevant, and complete.

  • Assists with various complaint-related projects and duties as assigned

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • B.S. in Molecular Biology, Microbiology, Chemistry, Biochemistry or Bioengineering/Biomedical Engineering

  • 0-2 years of laboratory experience

  • Preferred Knowledge of current Good Manufacturing Practices, Good Documentation Practices, Good Lab Practices .

  • Working knowledge of general laboratory procedures, laboratory safety, and record-keeping

  • Basic Technical writing skills

  • Good communication skills

  • Knowledge of Root cause analysis and/or problem solving

  • Experience with systems such as Oracle or Agile at any level is desired

The annualized base salary range for this role is $67,000 to $82,000 and is bonus eligible. Final compensation packages will ultimately depend on factors including relevant experience, skillset, knowledge, geography, education, business needs and market demand.
