About the role The Regional Vice President, Military Facilities Management is responsible for oversight of all maintenance functions for assigned portfolio, to include adherence to maintenance, safety and environmental policies and procedures, high quality standards, budget, contracts, and capital expenditures. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring the quality of life for military personnel and their families by maintaining safe, comfortable, and well-managed housing facilities. Essential to this role is the ability to champion the ethical and compliant portfolio innovation, sustainable initiatives, development, and implementation of actions plans and the professional development of the BBC facilities management leadership. Role includes accountabilities for successful completion of requirements as described in the BBC MHPI project operating documents, specifically the Facilities Management Agreement. Direct oversight of regional facilities management team within assigned region. You may be eligible for a $500 net sign on bonus to be paid out in your first paycheck What you'll be doing Establish and ensure compliance with policies and procedures related to facilities management in support of successful community management operations. Establish audit procedures to monitor compliance of all policies and procedures. Responsible for financial management of the Facilities Management team within designated region including review and timely submission of annual budgets in coordination with Operations, expense management, employee cost and recruiting, forecasting, and other critical financial factors. Coordinate Capital planning with Project Development to ensure capital needs are executed and allocated accordingly. Partnership between Communities and Facilities is critical to the success of the organization, setting of agreed upon goals, policies and objectives, ensuring the delivery of maintenance services aligns with priorities for maintaining robust occupancy levels and high resident satisfaction.
