The Project Manager II – Infrastructure will be responsible for managing the full Project Management Life Cycle for Technology Engineering programs and projects. The ideal candidate has extensive experience utilizing widely recognized industry standards and methodologies successfully deliver multiple complex projects. This candidate will play a primary role in validating requirements, leading internal and external communications, managing issues and mitigating risks to ensure successful on-time project delivery. The ideal candidate is a highly-organized, experienced and effective project manager who possesses excellent verbal and written communication skills, and has relevant technical and industry expertise to continually satisfy both internal and external project stakeholders.

RESPONSIBILITIES, other duties may be assigned.

  • Manages a portfolio of complex Technology Infrastructure deployments.

  • Collaborates with cross-functional stakeholders to validate business cases, and formulate and align on project charters.

  • Develops project plans and manages all other aspects of projects including scope, schedules, communications, quality, resources, procurement, risks, and stakeholder relationships.

  • Manages entire project scope, including validating requirements, creating comprehensive Work Breakdown Structures, and effectively mitigating or eliminating scope creep.

  • Understands interdependencies between operational, business and customer needs, and proactively works to resolve disputes and gain stakeholder alignment

  • Serves as the primary point of contact for project updates to all internal and external project stakeholders

  • Facilitates regular meeting cadences and provides timely updates to project stakeholders through established channels (email, messenger, web conference, etc.)

  • Provides effective leadership to project team by holding them accountable to meet project milestones and timelines

  • Monitors, tracks and controls outcomes to resolve conflicts, dependencies and other project risks to ensure critical path deliverables are met

  • Provides periodic reports, metrics and project summaries to executive-level representatives of internal business units (Technology Engineering and Operations, Property Development, Facilities Operations)

  • Utilizes PMBOK best practices, established project methodologies and tools to mature PM capabilities for the organization, including internal processes and documentation

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Project Management or other related field or equivalent professional experience

  • Seven or more years of IT, Project Management, service delivery or customer relationship management experience

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office suite

  • Experience building detailed technical project plans and task dependencies based on technical familiarity and stakeholder interviews

  • Experience managing complex, strategic programs with multiple sub-projects/workstreams

  • Advanced knowledge of data center/critical environment concepts, such as space, power, cooling and connectivity

  • Advanced knowledge of technologies found within data center architecture, such as routers, switches, firewalls, server components, storage, and virtualization.

  • US Citizenship for this position is required by law due to federal customer contracts

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Five or more years of progressive project management experience or team lead experience in an IT infrastructure environment

  • PMP or Agile certification

  • ITIL Certification

  • Experience with Salesforce CRM

  • Experience with Project Management applications such as MS Project or Clarity

  • Prior experience working in a Data Center environment

  • Experience in project managing customer migrations

  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to interface with Senior Management

  • Strong facilitation skills

  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented individual with extensive experience multi-tasking across multiple concurrent and complex projects

  • Strong communication, organization, and management skills

  • Strong time management and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
