[Reports to the Safety & Security Manager. This position assists with 24/7 Security at the Glass City Center. This is a Part--Time position This position is responsible for implementing and supervising the 24/7 Security & Life/Safety of the facility]{times="" new="" roman";="" font-size:="" 13pt"=""}

[Duties and Responsibilities:]{times="" new="" roman";="" font-size:="" 13pt"=""}

• [Security Officers/Security Guards observes and reports activities and incidents all day at the Glass City Center and after hours at the Huntington Center. Be alert at all times and log in any occurrences during shift.]{times="" new="" roman";="" font-size:="" 13pt"=""}
• [Answer incoming customer phone calls and take appropriate action for each call.]{times="" new="" roman";="" font-size:="" 13pt"=""}
• [Report any hazardous conditions or emergency situations to management follow safety precautions, and log in book.]{times="" new="" roman";="" font-size:="" 13pt"=""}
• [Responsible for desk coverage until replacement arrives]{times="" new="" roman";="" font-size:="" 13pt"=""}

[Use company policies to determine if there can be an immediate resolution to a customer issue or if that issue requires managerial input.]{times="" new="" roman";="" font-size:="" 13pt"=""}

[Input data into the company computer platform to keep each customer record updated.]{times="" new="" roman";="" font-size:="" 13pt"=""}

[Frequent sitting, standing, and walking, which may be required for long periods of time, and may involve climbing stairs and walking up inclines and on uneven terrain.]{times="" new="" roman";="" font-size:="" 13pt"=""}

[Must effectively work with a variety of staff, customers and visitors, sometimes under potentially stressful situations. Must have the ability to work with diverse populations and possess exceptional interpersonal skills.]{times="" new="" roman";="" font-size:="" 13pt"=""}

[Works closely with clients and the general public and represents the facility in communicating building policies with clients regarding safety and security, move in/out, and over all facility policies]{times="" new="" roman";="" font-size:="" 13pt"=""}

[Additional physical requirements of the security officer/guard may include frequent lifting and/or moving up to 10 pounds and occasional lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds]{times="" new="" roman";="" font-size:="" 13pt"=""}

[Keeps the Safety and Security Manager informed of day-to-day activities]{times="" new="" roman";="" font-size:="" 13pt"=""}
