WTW Graphic Designer in Toronto, Ontario

The Role

  • This is a visual communications role with a focus on graphic design.

  • Work with a team of writers, translators, designers, consultants, clients and third parties to develop creative design solutions to effectively communicate the strategic intent for each project.

  • Ensure the highest quality standards across all media types (e.g., print, online, video, etc.).

  • Work closely with project managers and consultants to coordinate and manage assigned projects according to a schedule.

  • Assign, monitor, and manage design work to junior designers and other communication professionals.

  • Provide accurate time and cost estimates.

  • Effectively handle multiple assignments at one time, under tight deadlines.

  • Work in InDesign and related software to design, illustrate, layout, and program the required materials.

  • Assist team members in preparing quality graphics and layout in MS 365 (Office) software.

  • Coordinate print management with third party vendors.

  • Perform other related tasks, when required.

  • This is a hybrid position, located in Toronto.

The Requirements

  • Post-secondary degree or certificate in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Advertising or related field (candidates with R.G.D. (Registered Graphic Designer) designation preferred).

  • 4+ years design experience, preferably in an agency environment or comparable setting.

  • Thorough knowledge of the following software applications is required: Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop; Microsoft PowerPoint, and Word.

  • Demonstrated ability to think creatively and provide marketable solutions when, conceiving, developing, and producing tactics.

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Strong project management and time management abilities.

  • A passion for creativity and excellence.

  • Works well alone and in a team.

  • Must be able to undertake main duties to a high level with minimal supervision.

  • Experience working with both English and French content is a plus.
