The Manager, Retail Savings contributes to the overall success of the Retail Savings in Canada ensuring specific individual goals, plans, initiatives are executed / delivered in support of the team’s business strategies and objectives. Ensures all activities conducted are in compliance with governing regulations, internal policies and procedures.
Is this role right for you? In this role, you will:
Lead design and delivery of Savings projects and initiatives in close collaboration with partners
Monitor the competitive environment, key market forces & positioning for new Savings initiatives
Lead innovation for new Savings initiatives for enhancements in product features & pricing to heighten acquisition, engagement & retention
Define & track key KPIs on new Savings initiatives to meet our Deposit growth ambition
Identify any potential pricing, technology, or operational barriers to implementing ideas
Collaborate with Retail Customer Growth, marketing & channel partners to drive client primacy, grow deposits & scale market share in priority markets
Develop go-to-market strategies including offers, marketing tactics & change management
Develop early month on book journey & engagement touchpoints in customer lifecycle
Promote continuous feedback cycle to evolve product innovation & tactics
Understand how the Bank’s risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions
Actively pursues effective and efficient operations of their respective areas in accordance with Scotiabank’s Values, its Code of Conduct, and the Global Sales Principles, while ensuring the adequacy, adherence to and effectiveness of day-to-day business controls to meet obligations with respect to operational, compliance, AML/ATF/sanctions, and conduct risk

Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role? We'd love to work with you if you have:
Bachelor’s degree (business/finance/marketing related)
3+ years of relevant work experience – preferably in product management, banking and/or management consulting
Strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills with proven ability to lead, influence and coordinate stakeholders to drive results.
Strong communication skills & attention to detail
Ability to anticipate and react quickly to change, operating with a sense of urgency; flexible and adaptable within a dynamic business environment
