Job Description Summary:

The Copywriter is a member of the Brand and Creative team responsible for the planning and execution of our written marketing materials. They are owners of our brand voice, ensuring that the work we create and enable is continuously high-quality, relevant, and engaging in ways that resonate with our customers, partners, and fellow Rocketeers.

This role requires someone who is a strong storyteller, highly organized, curious, and self-motivated to understand material in a technologically complex domain. Our content can be dense, and a successful candidate will excel at taking highly technical concepts and translating them clearly to a varied audience. The Copywriter collaborates closely with fellow members of the marketing team, sales, development, as well as our customers to create compelling content that helps to elevate the brand and ensures that all partner and agency content adheres to our brand guidelines and editorial standards.

The right candidate will have experience writing within the tech or IT space, and a solid understanding of IT and legacy technology concepts is a definite plus. The role is housed within the Marketing department and reports to the Creative Director.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

• Research, develop, write, and proof, compelling copy/content for a wide variety of marketing communications, including sales collateral, promotional banners and social posts, website and email copy, infographics, case studies, and video scripts

• Collaborate on the creative production of marketing content assets; work with fellow members of the Creative Team on print and digital layouts to ensure copy is aligned with brand voice and content strategy

• Be a keeper of Rocket’s tone of voice brand style, and be responsible for building out our best practices as the brand evolves

• Be a subject matter expert of best content-marketing practices and marketing trends

• Work cross-functionally across the Rocket organization to support content creation strategy; collaborate with advisory and product teams to leverage their subject matter expertise, and collaborate with our C-level leaders on corporate messaging

• Leverage content analytics to improve audience engagement across blog, ads, and social media posts, etc.

Qualifications:

• 4-6 years of experience in content marketing, journalism, or advertising

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Experience analyzing data and drawing story threads within and across data sets

• Excellent interpersonal skills

• Confidence with proofreading and providing feedback to other writers

• Ability to manage time and personal project workload

• Adobe Creative Suite experience and understanding of basic design/layout principles is a plus but not required.

• Experience writing within B2B/IT environments is a plus but not required.

Annual salary range for this position is between €31,767.00 - €58,995.00 gross before taxes.

Salary offer for the candidate is determined based on the predefined salary ranges for the position and depends on the level of competence and experience of the candidate.
