Paychex Manager, Sales Play Acceleration in United States

Overview

The Sales Acceleration Operations Manager serves as a project manager within the Sales Play Center of Excellence. Sales Plays are top strategic initiative within Paychex, aiming to accelerate growth via repeatable, integrated, data-driven sales & marketing efforts. This role will also collaborate with teams that span revenue operations and marketing to develop and execute effective sales plays. Responsibilities include managing cross-functional teams, building Sales Plays, and ensuring effective execution of the Plays after launch.

Responsibilities

  • Directs the creation of Sales Plays, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.

  • Collaborates with Revenue Operations, Sales leaders and Marketing Sales Play Center of Excellence team to develop effective Sales Plays and execute them successfully.

  • Monitors, manages and prioritizes tasks across a portfolio of Sales Plays. Tracks Sales Play tasks, ensuring timelines are met. Effectively allocates resources to meet deadlines.

  • Ensures open and transparent communication within the team, with other departments, and senior leadership, fostering a shared understanding of goals and progress.

  • Works with cross-functional teams to develop effective sales messaging, collateral, and training materials.

  • Curates content for and conducts daily and weekly meetings within the sales play. Ensures all team members are well-coordinated and carrying out their designated tasks.

  • Ensures timely development and delivery of bill-of-materials (BOM) assets.

  • Analyzes data, insights and feedback to consistently identify opportunities to enhance Sales Play processes, optimize efficiency and boost sales proficiency.

  • Monitors the performance of the Sales Plays to identify and champion successes and make recommendations for warranted changes.

  • Continuously seeks out opportunities to improve Sales Play processes through self-education and monitoring of market trends.

  • Performs other duties as assigned by Sales Acceleration leadership team.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, or another related field - Preferred

  • 7 years of experience in Experience in a high performing sales organization.

  • 5 years of experience in Experience leading a matrix team and/or project management.

  • 1 year of experience in Proven track record of managing and executing successful sales campaigns.

  • 1 year of experience in PEO or HCM industry experience.

  • Strong verbal communication and listening skills.

Compensation

In the spirit of pay transparency, we are excited to share that the starting base pay range for this position is $79k - $125,400k a year . Please keep in mind that this range is the base pay only and does not consider other components that make up the total rewards package for the position. If you are hired at Paychex, your overall compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience which may result in total compensation outside of this range.
